Dallas is the third cities of Texas in our road trip. We spend more than 15days stayed in San Antonio and Houston, but we've been Dallas just for one day. I drove here for Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki.
American Airlines sponsored two arena in NBA. One is American Airline Arena (AAA) in Miami, the other is American Airlines Center (AAC) in Dallas.
American Airlines Arena looks like a hotel. The section numbers look like room numbers.
Dirk Nowitzki
Mavericks has been a tough state rivals of Spurs for 10 years, I've watched Duncan vs Nowitzki since my childhood. Even Nowitzki made me hate him for several years, but I respect him very much. Dirk lead Mavericks grab 2011 NBA champions, the only champions in team histories. Dirk also is the games played, scores, rebounds, field goals made, free throws made, 3-points field goals made, blocks, minutes played leader in Mavericks team history. There are only 6 players joined "30,000 career points" club in NBA histories, and Dirk Nowitzki is one of them. Mavericks organization almost honors Dirk Nowitzki everywhere in American Airlines Center.
Obviously, I came here for Dirk, but he is too old to handle the whole game.
Mavericks' grade is not good at recent two years. We only met two games home team lost to guest team, this game is one of them. Mavericks played awful, and fans are not satisfied with Mavericks performance. They booed their players loudly at that night.
After this game and a terrible motel experience in Dallas, we drove to Oklahoma City at next day. See you next time, Texas.
