Let's Go Bucs

PNC Park has been in my "must visit stadium" list for a long time. I heard PNC Park is one of the most beautiful stadium in America and Roberto Clemente Bridge is amazing, so we decided to park our cat at 6th street walking across bridge to the stadium.

Roberto Clemente called the greatest baseball player of Puerto Rico. He was two time World Series champions, 1971 World Series MVP, 1966 NL regular season MVP, 15 time All Star, 4 time NL hitting champions, 12 time gold glove winner. Roberto Clemente hit two homerun and 0.414 hitting average at World Series 1971 leading Pirates win the trophy in 7 games. 1972, after he finished his career 3000 hits game, he flew to Nicaragua attending charity events. His plane crashed and he died on this charity travel. In order to honor his achievements and behaviors. Pirates retired his number, and he was voted into Baseball Hall of Fame at 1973.

Pirates traded all star outfielder Andrew McCutchen and pitcher Garrit Cole to Giants and Astros. It made Pirates fans angry. There are a lot of Pirates fans cancelled their season tickets reservation to protest organization's disrespected moves to their loyalty all star players. It's the Pirates' home opening week in 2018, but the stands are empty.

We met strange weathers, a warm March and a cold April when we on our road trips. There were 25 games postponed in this April 2018. It matched 2007 for the most weather postponed games in April since MLB started keeping records in 1986. It was extremely cold and had snow falls at this game, so we escaped after bottom 8. Because of bad weather, so we missed the beautiful views of PNC Parks.
