Washington DC is a super beautiful city, and Nationals Park is super awesome. It was my second time to DC. We drove from Cleveland to here last time, but we drove from Pittsburgh this time.
It spend more than 5 hours driving from Pittsburgh to DC. This game started at 1 pm, and it was Nationals home opener. We waked up at 7 and arrived nearby area around 12:30, and we used another 40 minutes seeking parking lots. It's bottom 3 when we sat in our seats. Nationals Park is super beautiful, fans showed passions to players. It's a good game. BTW, it cost us 60 bucks to park our car. We swear we won't do that again.
The walkway below the infield stands and the huge billboards stand behind the outfield grandstand. Stephen Strasburg pitched this game, we were so lucky.

We were so lucky watching Jacob deGrom pitched for Mets. He pitched well in this game, but Harper got a walk at this at-bat.
The amounts of spectators in home open weeks of Nationals and Pirates had no comparison. I guess there were more than 50,000 fans in this game, but Strasburg lost his strike zone and had too many walks. Mets defeated Nationals in this game.
