DC Style

We've heard about the capital of America is not a safe city, but we really love this city.

I came from Taiwan, so I traveled to Japan a lot. The government district of this city is similar to Tokyo. It's very clean, discipline, and organized.

We saw cherry blossom opened on DC's street. It's awesome, and we love United States Capitol. The Building is so beautiful. We visited DC from White House through Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, National Mall, to United States Capitol. This area is wonderful.

DC is the capital of America, I think there are so many resident were born and grown in another states, so they will show their supports when their hometown team come to DC.Washington Wizards host Miami HEAT in the day we arrived, and the amount of Wizards's fans and HEAT's fans are almost even. The player got the loudest cheers is Dwyane Wade, the HEAT's legendary.

Capital One Arena

Although it's not on my top 5 list, but I like this arena. Captital One Arena looks similar to Air Canada Centre . They both locate on the busy area of the city, they both are full of 1990-2000's luxury style, the walkways of these two are not wide but clean, their court floors' colors are both red and light yellow. The only two things Capital One Arena is worse than Air Canada Centre are their WIFI signal and their terrible seats.

This organization change their team's name in the end of 20 century. Because DC is called "The Capital of murder", so they changed Washington Bullets to Washington Wizards.

But the only banner hanged on the roof is garb by Bullets.

Although Wizards lost their best player John Wall on this game and HEAT played tough enough to beat them, but Wizards got Bradley Beal who had his career year in this season. He lead Wizards beat HEAT in overtime.

There was a very beautiful light snow after this game, and I took this picture. After this, I had a very horrible driving experience back to hotel. It's not whiteout, but I can't see the road clearly, there are only dark, snow, and fear around us. Actually, I've met a terrible bomb cyclone at January, I stuck my car in the snow at a blizzard midnight. But this road from arena to our hotel was as scary as the experience at January.
